  • You have full access to the garden at the rear of the property. At the moment the summer house is still undergoing some renovation, so it is presently inaccessible.

    During the colder months or when the weather is wet, we ask that you take lots of care on the decking in the garden, as it becomes very slippy.

    Our bins are situated just outside the rear of the property. We kindly ask that you do make use of these to continue our respect for the environment.

  • GREY : For everything recyclable, including paper, cans and plastics.

    PURPLE : For everything non- recyclable, please make sure all waste is tied in the white basic bag provided in the bin situated under the kitchen sink, before popping it into the purple bin.

    BROWN : Compost for food waste. Extra bags are available in the slim cupboard to the left of the cooker.

    Before leaving we kindly ask that you put all dirty towels in the shower tray.

    Leave all rubbish in the kitchen at the back door for us to dispose of or in bins in garden.

  • USE THE THERMOSTAT

    The thermostat for the heating system is located in the hallway. For your comfort we have set the heating on a schedule to come on in the morning for a few hours and in the evening too. However if you are planning to stay put for the day the system can easily be boosted by following these instructions

    To boost the heating, follow the below steps:

    1. Press the Heating Boost button on top of the thermostat to turn the heating on for 1 hour.

    2. Press the Heating Boost button again to increase the length of your Boost.

    3. Turn the dial to change the Boost temperature (it’s set to 22⁰ by default).

    4. When the Boost finishes, your heating will go back to its previous mode.

    5. To cancel Boost early, press the Back button.

    We kindly ask that due to increasing energy prices, you use this in an energy saving way, thank you so much.

  • The property is accessed by obtaining the keys from the secured fob situated to the rear of the property just outside the back gate. Use the code that we emailed to you. We ask that you please keep the garden gate into the property locked at all times.

  • Please refer to the manual.

  • We do not have Sky, but there is a full selection of channels provided with Freeview. If you are bringing a laptop we have an HDMI cable that you can use to watch media from your computer.

  • The hob is induction. To switch the power on, touch and hold the "On/off sensor" for approximately two seconds. The hob will beep and all four cooking zone indicators will show “0”. Touch the cooking zone selector for the required zone. The hob will beep and the zone display will show a pulsating "0" on the selected zone's indicator. Select the desired heat setting using the "+" or "-" selectors. The power level ranges from 1 (minimum) to 9 (maximum). The hob will begin heating and the cooking zone indicator will pulsate for approximately ten seconds before remaining solidly lit. Inactive cooking zones' indicators will dim at this point.
